We will visit El Calafate, El Chaltén & Los Glaciares National Park in Argentina.
Patagonian weather is notorious for being unpredictable. Late March is the start of autumn in the Southern Hemisphere with average highs around 15-17 C (60-62 °F) & the average lows around 2 °C (36 °F).
The terrain is magnificent, and the sights range from glaciers, ice fields, lakes and grasslands.
This trip will be moderately difficult & challenging due to distances & terrain
Located at the foothills of the Andes, you will begin at sea level and the highest elevation reached is 1,200 meters (3,937 feet) above sea level.
Coming prepared with layers is essential for the variations of weather during the days and nights.
A good wind jacket is a must in Patagonia, as are sturdy hiking shoes and UV-filtered sunglasses.
No camping gear is needed, as it will be provided.
